2nd Day in Noah's Land
Cool!It was awesome today.Things got really a lot better and I figured out a way to take care of all the kids in my class.Well,not perfect yet,but at least,better.
Samuel and Kuan ler was still slow,and Desmond was slow too today.Oh ya,I started with Mathematics today,they are required to write from 1 to 80.The fast one finished till 100.Samuel faced problem after 20.Okay,I used blue pen to write the numbers and let him follow.But,still,he was not able to keep focus.Today,perhaps it was because of Ichiko,Yuki's brother,who was crying and shouting non-stop in my class.He didn't want to leave his sister's side.It seriously distract my class,especially my Matthew and Jia Yong.Anyway,things are a lot better than they were yesterday.Those who had finished maths,I let them coloured something.Finally,i managed to get the whole class to sit on the floor and start teaching.
Today's Chinese lesson is the word Goat.Mom taught me some ways,like asked them to raised their hand to write the words with me...IN THE AIR.XD.I also took Miss Chng's advice,make a sentence to let them read with me.I too,got some children to come out to try writing.Things went really good.XD
We just do one page,again,baby Samuel and Kuan Ler couldn't finish.But it was soon lunch time.I let them read and played puzzles.Oh ya,15 minutes before 11.30.I made them sit at their own place and recite the numbers from 1 to 100 with me.They did it really loud.XD
To sum it all,today,I was more...fierce..? And also,more experienced,and also able to get more attention from them.Thank God for that!Xd
Oh ya,forget to mention, I got compliments today,during teachers' lunch break.Mrs Chua and Mrs..(forget d) asked me about my day.I told them I notice Lydia couldn't get into Angela,Yuki and Co Ying's group.She chose to play and read on her own.And also about Song Won who is shy but can get things done really fast;Samuel unable to focus,Kuan Ler,slow but can get his work done nicely bla bla bla.Mrs...(can't remember seriously) said I show the 'trade mark' of a good teacher as I can notice all the kids in my class,figure out details.I am happy,honestly.Hope things will be even better tomorrow!^^
