Gate of Riddles Real Escape Room & Cafe In Alor Star

Recently, there is this new place for young people to hang out and have fun back in hometown -- Gate of Riddles Real Escape Room and Cafe. 

Nothing much to do this afternoon, so I went to check the place out. I did not pay for any game yet, cause I got no company.  Plus I, who was born with a timid soul, am too afraid to go into those dark rooms alone. Anyway, I spent some time, chilling at the coffee area at the shop, listening to the music while having some chitchats with the staffs there. I gotta say, it's a very comfy area. I did not take any photos there, but I really like their wooden furnitures. Plus, there is a corner, facing the windows, which makes me feel kinda like TLJ in KL. Haha. Anyway, they're luckier than TLJ for now, cause people sitting there do not have to look at the ugly construction site in Bukit Bintang area, they see nicer things (flower pots on the table and white walls with lotsa windows from Fuller Hotel) :P 

I was told a teenie bit about the price and games. The price set right now is as shown in the poster below:

Doesn't seem very cheap, but, according to the person in charge, they're new in town, thus promotions are available. 

Firstly, if you like their page on the spot(or prove that you've liked their page), you'll get a 10% discount from the original price. This is how their FB page looks like:

The other promotions depends on the number of people in the group for each game, as well as the number of games you pay for. RM32(RM29 after discount) is the price for a game, however, if your group has quite a number of people, or perhaps your group pay for all three games, the price will be further altered. About the rooms, these are the information I got from their posters. There would be three rooms of different themes in total. Every time you pay for a game, you could choose the preferable room you wish to try out, and spend at most 45 minutes inside to solve the riddles. I heard that surprises might be  given to customers, who could solve the riddles at a magnificent speed. Haha. (from a not-so-reliable source tho. :P) 

Ooh~ Spooky right! Haha. I just hope that my so-called gang would come back to Alor Star soon to try them out with me! I would definitely try the prison break one, cause Room 3 has this 'corpse' word in it, and it freaks me out just to imagine those amputated body parts that might or might not be there hahaha! I wonder tho, how much different would these rooms be, compared to the mobile games. I tried all the riddles in the mobile apps (some with cheats) but then, still, real life experience should be more fun and spookier... Right? Hahaha. :D
