Spending time with Grandma
Compared to my cousins, who are looked after by Grandma, I am never good in spending time with grandparents. I did pay them visit every weekends, still, I am never as good as them.
Instead, I am closer to aunts and uncles on the other side of my family because I used to spend a few months and years with some uncles and we had gatherings throughout the year. But, I love my grandparents, of course I do. Without them, Daddy won't be here d. :)
This shopping trip is a sudden one. Organized by Mum, I am glad, I get an opportunity to spend time with Grandma. Get to know more about her likes and dislikes. Last time, when Grandma offered to take care of us for a few days while parents were not around, Bro and I never feel comfortable with the idea. We couldn't see Grandma doing households, since that is what she has been doing at my cousins' house for years. Whenever she wanted to do, we would grab the broom or mop from her. Then, she would turn to keep asking us what we wanna eat and all. Bro and I want her to rest and enjoy her "holidays" at our home but she wasn't used to it. Thus, after a few times, Dad took our advice and let us take care of ourselves alone at home. Then, her holidays would be going for a light trip with us.
It is honestly a better one, we wouldn't feel stressed to stop her from doing chores, but would keep introducing her special things during the trip. This time, though Bro did not follow, but it is seriously a nice one. Find out Grandma is actually a cheese-person. Haha. Means, she loves stuff with creamy and cheesy texture. Haha:)
Also, I can tell she enjoyed her selves though she didn't buy anything and did lots of walking. In the car too, she has not stopped talking. I can tell that she is happy. I am glad. And, really, I can feel closer to her, internally. :)
