Last Day of 2014

So many huge incidents happened this year and I can't believe I did not wrote any of them now (literally none)!!

This year was so unique to me, in so many ways. Praise the Lord for every incident that has happened throughout the year, be it good or bad. God has provided so many opportunities just in these 12 months of time. I finally understand too, how people always say,
"Everything happens for some reasons. We may not understand right away, some may take up to several years; and in some cases we may never figure out. However, we just need to have faith, that God knows the best."
Very often, I try so hard to be in control of everything, not wanting to let loose, fearing of losing any precious thing in my life. It is my character that I tend to strive for perfection. I got so tired and frustrated, when things start to be out of my expectations.

One huge lesson I learn this year, is that all I need to do is to surrender everything to God, let Him be in charge, believing that He, our Father in Heaven, wants the best for me and has the best plan for my life. I have also learnt to understand the real meaning of faith. It is nothing about praying for something from God, and believing that He is going to deliver it to us. Instead, having faith means that, we surrender, let go and let Him do His work. We trust Him even at difficult moments. In our prayer, we ask for His will to be done and wait patiently for His timing, though we may have no clue at all about what is in store for us. It is not easy, especially for a control freak like me. However, I am thankful for the Varsity CG at church and the bible lessons we had throughout the year. Like every year, I have to say, being a part in the FGAKL Varsity CG is the biggest blessing I have encountered. I have leaders and a bunch of family in Christ, who has helped me grow in faith, and answered all my questions in my walk with Christ. They have been a great support for me.

Whoops. It's 11:48 p.m. now. Guess I should just call it a day.  Happy New Year, peeps. May the new year be a better year. God bless you. :)
