DIY birthday present in the progress

Julliet's birthday is coming. She loves receiving DIY stuffs. This definitely pick up my nerve for DIY and thus, I had come out with this idea. :D I bet I WiILL love it! :P 

This is the sketch I drew in class during lecture as soon as it popped out in my mind. 

Yea, it is going to be us, a bunch of good friends, sitting on our hot air balloon, flying to the future, TOGETHER.

I started this project with a lots of drawing and cutting to produce the "human". There are lots of big head stick man. Initially I was supposed to make lots of paper rolls to stick the big head on hard cardboards on it. But turn out I do not have much colour papers to make the rolls, this, I turned to cut lots of rectangles as the bodies. The heads idea remained, it was just plainly colour paper, stick to the hard paper and then, lots of drawing started. :D I drew these heads using their distinct features, or their bedmates.. Then cut it out and stick to the lollipop like stick men. :P 

But then, I saw that the body were quite empty without arms, thus I add in their name tags.. :P

So far that's all.. :D hope that it would be as nice as the one in my mind. :P
