Second Role Play-- A Therapy Session

This is called a visual schedule. It is normally used in a therapy session for client (mainly children) with autism. Children with autism are usually very structured and it is better to give them something concrete rather than Sth abstract.a visual schedule will help the, to have a better picture of what they have to do in the whole session that day. The pictures represent each activity the clinician will carry out with them. As soon as they finish one activity, the clinician will guide the child to remove one front he board and put it into the box beside. When there is no more picture on the board, it means, it's time for them to go home. :)

I made this by myself. Some weaknesses are there like not enough space for more pictures and so on.. But then, it will survive for this role play. We just have to do a few session goals in 20 minutes. :P

Now, these are, obviously puppet fingers. D.I.Y one too, of course. Well, in the toys room in clinic, there are some really delicate and nice ones, but we heard that fourth year seniors have their clinic tomorrow and it might means we won't be able to borrow any tomorrow, so, I made some really crude  ones. Not that ugly though. :P I am going to buy some felt and made some cute ones myself next time.  When finally I am free. Probably sem break? :)

Tiff.
