Macaron~My first attempt *Failed*

So, I saw my cousin in law shared a video of baking Macaron on FB. The ingredients are simple and I heard a lot of people saying its not easy to bake a nice Macaron, but somehow I was overconfident. Thus, one day when Mum was at school, I baked my own. 

Honestly! It was depressing! I followed the video steps by steps! Except for letting the egg white to rest for a day before using it. >< but turn out it was too wet!:( 

This photo shows the ingredient given by the Hing Kong Chef. The Macaron he made was so pretty!

But never mind, it taste exactly like the normal macaron, except that it has an uneven surface and it's ugly. 

I even followed the chef to prepare the ingredients in different containers which I don't normally did that!! :( 

Mix the almond powder with the cocoa powder.

The egg white was beaten and the powder was poured in step by step according to the chef! :( why can it be so wet! The ingredients were exactly the same!!! :( 



My first tray of Macaron. But it's definitely too wet. The shapes were all gone while resting outside until the certain time to finally bake it. 


Anyway, though it is ugly, I got a love shape Macaron on my first tray.

Definitely nicer than the first tray with less holes on the skin but still, very ugly. 

I am glad it taste right though it doesn't look right.
