Life's been great

haven't had the time to update anything about my life in university since (I don't know when). Life in university has been great, praise Lord for that! This year, clinical started. I think I mentioned in one of my post earlier on (last month, I think..). Since then, life has been busy and packed. Anyway, despite the fast pace and very routine-like life I am having now, life in university.. Just. Simply. Rocks!

I was scrolling through my iPad, looking for any photo to get an idea of what to start here. Man! Guess what! There're too many photos worth writing on! I really wish I could have the time to update at least one or two here next week, after some of the assignments due dates are finally over. I miss writing here!

Anyway, while waiting for my hair to dry up (I just finished my therapy plan and report half an hour ago.. Yea, crazy but that's how it is), I am just gonna talk about the food I had in university. Hahah

Cafeteria food, it is actually not that bad. The taste is okay. It's just the skyrocketing price which never seem to stop. I remember my first semester, white rice plus one type of vegetable was RM1.60; a piece of chicken was RM2.00; a piece of fish was RM2.50. Pretty cheap isn't it? However, next semester, the prices became RM1.70; RM2.50 and RM3.00. The next semester, chicken and fish remains, but the vegetable plus white rice became RM1.80. I thought it would stop there, but, NO! This year, this semester, white rice with vegetable become RM2.00. Oh, I forgot to mention about the eggs which turns from RM0.70 to RM1.00! My usual dish is white rice+one kind of vege(+egg). This combination is now RM3!! I feel stupid now, for not eating chicken plus rice instead. Lerrrr~

So, yea, that was lunch. Dinner, my kolej served only a la carte, which means, we have to place the order before the cooks will prepare the food.. Something like that. The main kitchen crew keeps changing. The crew this semester is great, the quality of food rises. Oh, even the Western Food stall, the guy really wears like a chef and the stall became so neat and tidy and hygienic, of course. Again, if it wasn't about money, I would stick to spaghetti for the rest of the semester I promise! Anyway, if I were to compare, dinner is definitely better compared to lunch. :)

So, yea, back to what I was gonna talk about. We, some girls and I, decide that we need to spend our money elsewhere and so, we cook our own dinner to save money. Turn out, all of the meals are pretty awesome. The only sad thing is that we don't have a fridge and so we cannot have meat or fish for dinner unless it's from a can. I don't remember how many cans of tuna, sardine, curry, chicken sauce and so on I had these two years. Hahha. Thank God I have great friends here. I had great fun cooking and eating with them. They're all very nice people. :) I even found my two best friends here. :)

These are the photos of our awesome 'work'... :P
