2nd time

I attended the Youth Fellowship at Minn's church tonight.It's certainly a fruitful night.Again,the only bad thing is,I didn't tell my parents about this.I was attending a party at a friend's home before attending church tonight.Many friends helped to arrange my transport though.Thanks to them.^^Thank God for making it so easy for me too.^^

My BFF,Minn and her sister,Jasmine, they crossed the road to lead me,who was waiting at Old Town Cafe to church.So sweet of them!Then,we chatted for a short while before the activities started.After greeting all the brothers and sisters who attended tonight,with the melody played by the sister playing piano,we sang a few worship songs.

Next,we listened to a sermon by Pastor.Today's topic is about "Ghost".It was an interesting talk.Firstly,he told us the different views of people of different religion in this topic.He too,told us the background of the chinese tradition during July-August,so-called the Ghost Festival.Since daddy is a Buddhist,we never practised such tradition before.He dislikes us to be superstition.Admittedly,I didn't even know some of the stories Pastor shared with us.Then,he told us that the ghost chinese(non-Christian) are refering to,is not the spirit of the deceased.Ghosts are actually the "ka kia" of  Satan.They are actually angels who have sinned.And they are afraid of God,Jesus and also us,Christians!

Mar 5:1  And they came over to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.

Mar 5:2  And when He had come out of the boat, immediately a man with unclean spirits met Him out of the tombs,

Mar 5:3  who had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one could bind him, no, not with chains

Mar 5:4  because he had often been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Nor could anyone subdue him.

Mar 5:5  And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones.

Mar 5:6  And when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped Him,

Mar 5:7  and cried with a loud voice, and said, What is to me and to You, Jesus, son of the Most High God? I adjure You by God not to torment me.

Mar 5:8  For He said to him, Come out of the man, unclean spirit!

He showed us some of the verses through the slides.This is one of it.He said,the evil spirit knows who is Jesus,they are afraid of God and the Son of God,because they are those who sinned.He told us,we must have confidence,believe in God,and keep praying and reading Bible.Pastor said,the evil spirit are scared of those who have close relationship with God,those who always talk to God and listen to God's words.And,if we have enough faith,we can actually drives out demon too!He shared with us some of his experience in driving out demons during the talk.

Oh ya,we were advised not to watch Ghost movie or horror movie.He said we must not be scared,as it gives chance to the evil spirit to affect us.We are led to say a prayer,to remove all the image we've used to seen before,the sight that will make us afraid and feel week.We should also always remember that Jesus lives in our hearts.We do not have to be worry as Jesus will bring peace to each of us.Jesus only bring happiness to all of us.

After the sermon,it's thanks giving.We sang "Give thanks".After that,a prayer led by Pastor marked the end of our Youth fellowship.We chatted a while there and Li Xiang fetched me home.On our way home,his brother asked us to say what we've learnt.It's like making a conclusion or summary.It's the first time,I am not shy or afraid that I might say something wrongly,and talked about what I've learnt.I felt so good!XD

At night,I talked to my boy about today's topic.He is happy for me too.I am learning.He is right!
