Birthday

I really thought it would be a lonely birthday for me this year. Dear is not free to celebrate with me and so do Z and Ning. Suddenly, in the afternoon, I get a text message from a sweet girl and with another girl, they wanna celebrate my birthday with me. In Riverland. I am a bit nervous, cause we were not close lat time, however, our friendship gets into a 'deeper' phase since I accepted Christ and started to attend church. Talk about Celina, she is really a very sweet and understanding girl. Also, she has given me great encouragement in Christian stuff. Especially when I faced problems understanding something about Christianity. Then, the other girl, Phoebe, her mummy is our youth advisor. I get more opportunity to mix with her sister, Dougas as she was in Taiwan when I went to church this year.

Ok, talk about the celebration. Oh my God, it was so surprising and touching as well! They actually went there earlier as I could only go after working. Then, we were eating and talking and suddenly.... I see they signal the indian guy, who was so eager to bring the surprise they prepared for me out, to go inside first. However, I saw.XD then, since it was also a perfect timing, they let him put the things there. Awww~ so sweet! An ice-cream and a piece of cake. They even brought candles!!!! Haha. Just that the chocolate topping on the cake is too hard for the candles to get into the cake and Phoebe or Celina suggested to poke them in the ice cream. Really cute!!! The Indian guy ignited the candles and I felt like crying. I never thought I could have a happy birthday this year. Praise the LORD for this!!! Thanks to the two sweet girls too! Their effort means a lot to me. I was so touched that I nearly cried. There is nothing else I could say other than Thank You. I hugged them and they sang me a song.

"happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."

And they kept on with
" May the good God bless you, may the good God bless you, nay the good God bless you~ may the good God bless you."

And I blow the candles and we decided we should pray, thank and praise the Lord for this day. Celina said the prayer. I love it. It is so good, and I felt so impressed by the way she pray. I hope I could learn to pray as well as her one day. But I know God will lead me and help me to improve each day. In the prayer, we thank the Lord for this fellowship this afternoon. And many more. :)

After that, we enjoy our dessert and talk and exchange some experience about our health, Uni stuff, and many more. It is undoubtedly a nice evening. We sat there for hours. And we got many useful information through the talk as well. And also I asked them about the Jambatan at WMC yesterday which I missed.

Words couldn't express how I feel today. I really love spending time with them.

Then, we were reluctant to go home yet and decide to do something 'girlie'. Haha. We went to Popular bookstore and Phoebe headed for her reference book. I think they are helping the other youths at church with their studies. Then, Celina and I chose some Teacher's Day cards. :)
