What else I could say
I was taking a nap and, suddenly, my hand phone rang. I saw that it is from AUG and wonder why would they call again since they have just called to inform me about my unconditional offer this morning.
But then! Oh God! I never expect this! The agent asked me whether I am prepared for an interview cause the representative from University of Macquarie came to the centre and had decided to talk to me. She wanted to give me the opportunity to be considered a AUS$ 5000 scholarship, which it's deadline has long past. I was delirious with excitement! Instinctively, I could only say this---Thank God!
We had an interview through the phone and she wanted me to talk about myself and why would I be interested in this course. Honestly, I didn't have the time to think of what what to say, I said a silent prayer that God will lead me to say the right thing and when she wanted me to start, I told her about the test I had taken last year and my cGPA and IELTS result as well. Then I told her how I get to know about this course and what am I doing currently. She was pleased that I am working in a nursery now and told me about this course, its prospect, its demand and so on. Before we ended this interview, I told her I am currently applying for sponsorship to pursue this course in Australia and asked whether it concerned them or whether it will affect scholarship she wanted to put my name in for consideration. She said should not be any problem but she will talk to me again soon. :) Praise the LORD!
Oh God, seriously, what else I could say except this? Thank You! Thank You! I can feel You, LORD. Thanks for making way for me. My experience in the nursery helps me a lot. The interviewers from UKM I met last month too were so pleased by this experience I had. And thank God for introducing me this course through my boss's daughter. In Jesus' name, Amen!
