Apple, Sultana, Cranberries Scone

Again, another baking experiment this time: Scones! Daddy and I love scones since the first time we had blueberry scones years ago. I'm lucky to be in KL and manage to try quite some scones from different coffee houses, but Daddy doesn't get such opportunity a lot in Alor Star. So, I decided to try baking one for the first time in my life. I would rate it as a good experience, and would definitely do again...I guess. Haha.

My little experiment:
I have used apple, sultana(raisins) and cranberries for these scones I baked. Good thing Dad just bought a few boxes of these organic dried fruits and nuts during our groceries shopping last week. Again, I couldn't help to experiment a little this time too. By referring to a couple of different recipes I found online and also the comments by other fellow bakers out there....I added and took away some ingredients. Things added are cranberries, a little bit of salt and sugar; whereas cinamon was taken out(not available at home at that moment). Anyway, the result was satisfactory. Here's some photos of my baking that time.

Before they were put into the oven.

Looking good right?

This is how my scones look like!
And this is how the scones on the website look like:

Hahaha. Not too bad isn't it? :D

Tiff.
Healing through baking.
Love life.
