Grandpa's 80th birthday

Grandpa is already 80 years old. Hard to imagine he is already 80, he is still so healthy and works like young people. Who would be able to know that he actually suffered from stroke years ago after a motorbike accident? He is a man with very strong will. He recovered quite fast, and now, his children, including my Dad does not allow him to ride his motorbike anymore, he walks miles and miles to his favourite Dim Sum restaurant every morning at 6:30 to meet the fellow uncles. I remembered some of the uncles, I used too with him when I was young before going to Superkid sometimes. :) 

Anyway, Grandpa always celebrates his birthday on the same day as all the elders who also celebrated their birthdays in August in the association he participates in. So, every year, we kinda have dinner at the same place with the same families besides our own family. Thus, the photos we take every year looks almost the same... :P 

***except that some cousins, aunt and uncle from other states could not make it sometimes..

## Eavesdropping 

Something I would love to write about in my blog is about Mum and Grandpa. Hah. I am always the sweet girl in my family, both Mum and Dad side of relatives. Once, i went over to hug my Grandpa and sit with him for a while at his table with his friends. Then, something I heard in between my conversation really made me laugh. Grandpa was boasting to his friends about my Mum, saying something like "my daughter in law is very kind to me, she always cooks the food I like for me...she knows how to cook curry fish, very yummy....". Then the cake was served, and he said "I don't want to eat this, my daughter in law just baked a nice chocolate flavored cake for me. I have eaten at home. She is good in baking, she could bake many types of cake like those in the bakery shop." Hahaha. Mum was so happy when I told her that... :P 

So, this was the cake Mum baked this year. I helped decorating it too. :P

Many of my cousins weren't here this year. Anyway, we have all grown so much. The younger cousins all grew so fast in such short time. They are even bigger than me now. Haha. Big, huge, large... Hahhaha
