An unexpected morning
Woke up early at 8am today, probably the earliest since I came home one month ago. It's because I had a breakfast gathering with some old school mates and friends. Constance gimme a called saying Kevin is back and would want to meet up some friends, and asked am I okay if she asked some of our old Keat Kwa mates along. Of course, well, once we know your name, forever we consider as friends in Keat Hwa. Hahah.
So, yea, end up, the shop we intended to eat curry mee did not open and so, we went to the breakfast area near Billion wet market. How many years have I not step into a wet market already. The smell is still there but it actually feels quite good seeing so many Chinese around Alor Star again. Hahhaa. And the food is still as nice as what I remembered. :) I would want come every day if I could wake up and if there's someone to come with me.
Besides Kevin and Constance, Jason, Geny and SN came too. We had breakfast and chit chatted. About everything I guess, about accounting, econs, finance, big companies in the world for accounts, the environment in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong.., my own course, pharmacy, hospitals, architecture...bla bla bla. Basically, it's all about updating each other with what is going on with us. Kevin graduated last year from Australia, and is currently working in an accounting firm in Singapore. Constance was studying in Hong Kong, but is recently transferred to NUS(Singapore) due to an exchange programme. I am gonna pay them a visit one day. :D well, the rests of us are studying in local Uni. Most of them are from USM while I'm the only one in KL.
We didn't take any photos, but it's quite a nice gathering actually. Being able to hear about other fields of profession and also the kind of life they're having. I love this kind of gathering where each of us is of different fields of profession, maybe even different countries. Like this, we would have so many topics to share and there won't be any awkward silent moment. :D though people might afraid it would be uncomfortable or awkward when there will be no common topic, but, hey, we are at this age, in Uni now, the only time we, old school mates, can freely ask about anything, share our opinions about anything we are interested in, voicing or taking any disagreement or correction if wrong without worries. Haha. I love this kind of gathering besides the old friends or BFF gathering. :)
Tiff
Finally a good day after these few days.
Thank God my phone rang that day and I said yes to he invitation. :)
God bless.
Good day.
Others' experience and exposure is always a great motivation and inspiration to make ourselves want to be better, isn't it? :)
