Once in a lifetime experience

Yes, doing my first assessment plan is an once in a lifetime experience. How would someone had their first for a few times in live?! :)

Honestly, I felt the fun of doing this for my first time. It wasn't too stressful too. I actually enjoyed looking for information and brainstorming with my 2 other friends while constructing the sentences. It took me hours until I've got one complete plan besides the missing rationale of each of my assessment goals.

The good thing about this course is I always manage to have fun in whatever I'm doing. Besides, there are always good people, be it lecturers or seniors, who are very nice to provide guidance for us. :)

After completing the assessment plan, I wasn't confident enough to send to my supervisor. I mean, it's gonna be evaluated once this reach the supervisor! So, instead, I first sought help from a graduated senior and he is kind enough to help commenting and advicing me on my assessment plan. When I got it back, I felt very...disappointed with myself. The senior has done a big favor by patiently typing down his advice and comments in red. I read and read and it makes so much sense, and it certainly gives me better idea of what I should aim for.

Despite the disappointment and the a bit of sadness, I am grateful that I have great people around me that would help me grow into a better person. I am also happy that I did not feel bad about myself for being not good enough in what I do, instead, I am grateful that I have this opportunity to learn. I will keep on trying and will not give up until I am good enough to be a qualified and professional speech therapist, in a few years still of course. :) I believe, it's better to be wrong now than in future. Father Lord, thank you for all the blessings you have given me. I will not take them for granted but will always learn and grow to be a better person. :)

Tiff,
Perserverance is the spirit today! :)
Thank You.
Love.
